Farewell

After 3 and a half years, THE FORT has ceased publication. A volunteer-driven experiment, it received funding through local non-profit organizations. Alas, the money has dried up.

I'd like to thank the National Historic Park, Fort Langley Business Improvement Association and the Langley Heritage Society for their contributions, and especially local writer and historian Jane Watt who helped edit and guide this publication. Thanks also to the local merchants who allowed me to drop off stacks of the paper each season.

I hope you'll still find time to visit Fort Langley and explore its rich history, recreational opportunities and soak up our village's unique character.
